The volume or chargeable weight can be determined by usingseveral factors, depending on whether the measurements are inmetric, pounds, or a combination. 49 x 42 x 36 / 166 = 447 pounds

If the actual weight of the shipmentis 230 pounds, the carrier will charge the rate for 447pounds.

3. For shipments whose measurements are in inches butweight is in kilograms: multiply the length by height bywidth and divide by the factor of 366. For example, a shipmentthat weighs 102 kilograms but is 42" long by 51" high by 20"wide:

42 x 51 x 20 / 366 = 118Kg

The carrier would charge the rate for118 Kg., not 102 Kg.
