The weekly Milestones help you create your research project.

The first step in this block$-$long process is identifying appropriate subjects for your investigation. As you think about something you would like to pursue, keep in mind that the focus must be on a subject related to global affairs. Also, you don$$t want it to be too broad, so focus on something specific, as your presentation time is limited$.$ A study of government in Africa is far too broad, but you could look at a specific country and its governance.

For your first Milestone, propose two matters you would like to pursue. Once you have brainstormed your ideas, the instructor will examine your proposals and help you select one or refine an idea if needed. So we have a range of presentations for us to all learn from, only one person may present a specific subject, so your submission will give us some options for topics to explore.
