Remember that defining a topic helps facilitate the objective of the research and search for information with greater specificity. When selecting the topic, you need to consider the following questions: ? What do I know about the topic? ? Why am I interested in writing about that topic? ? What can I learn from that topic? ? How can I link that topic to my area of ??study or specialty?

The topic will be: The impact of underground economies in the country (Puerto Rico)

An example when planning the development of the essay could be the following:

o Inequality and marginality in the professional field o Guide questions to answer in your essay: o Is there inequality and marginality in the workplace due to gender, religion, social class or other classifications? o Can they be combated with formal and informal policies within organizations? ? Generation of ideas o After selecting the topic, you must apply the technique of generating ideas known as "brainstorming". This is a widely used technique to encourage the individual expression of ideas around a topic (see the template). This technique stimulates ingenuity and is characterized by the fact that you can include words, phrases, expressions or ideas that can help you develop the topic of your argumentative essay. In the diagram, you must include at least five (5) aspects that are closely related to the selected topic. ? It is important that when carrying out this search you use reliable sources and not the first one that appears. Among them, you can use Google Scholar, Redalyc, SciELO, Academia.edu, EPSCO and the resources available in the databases of the Virtual Library of the institution, among others. Do not forget that the origin of this information must be serious and reliable, with a periodic update of its content to corroborate that you are not using erroneous data and information. When preparing this assignment you must include three (3) recent references, meaning those published 10 years or less, from reliable sources: news, academic articles, books, etc. You must follow the seventh edition of the AP.A style.
