There are generally four phase for a project management which include planning phase, scheduling phase, controlling phase and closing phase. I think the first three phases are all important and indispensable for a project to be completed on time with the minimum cost. In the planning phase, it is important to set up the project objective, define the project, breakdown the project organization team structure and work structure. In the scheduling phase, it is important to allocate appropriate times for all the activities, sequence the activities and identify the milestone points. In the controlling phase, it is important to monitor the resources, quality, cost and budget, and revise plans to shift resources to meed the cost or time demands. If any one of these three phases fails, it will affect the successful completion of the project. All of these should work together to deliver the success of a project execution
