There are many items that we have talked about in this class. Often, we discuss terms here as they affect manufacturing companies. However, we often do not get a chance to discuss how a merchandising company would be use the concepts we have discussed. Your task in this paper is to explain how a merchandising company would apply these concepts. One approach to this would be to choose a merchandiser you are familiar with, explain in a sentence what they do, and then discuss how management accounting concepts can be put to use for them?
