There is efficiency and there is effectiveness. Managers need to be good at both. Efficiency means: O a. getting the most output from the least amount of input, the goal of which is to minimize resource costs, in other words, "doing things right." O b. completing activities so that organizational goals are attained; often described as "doing the right things" O c. effortless; working hard but it not feeling like work at all. O d. impossible to reach. Managers can only strive for this and increase their production capacity accordingly
