These are difficult questions. Understand, there is no right or wrong answer, but as a leader, you need to be able to provide thoughtful answers to hard questions such as these.

1. There are criticisms of transformational leadership. It's important to understand both the strengths and weaknesses of a theory before accepting or rejecting the use of the theory. If transformational leadership recognizes and exploits an existing need of a potential follower and looks for potential motives in followers would you consider this theory a form of manipulation? Explain why or why not.
2. History shows us that an immoral person can be a leader, an example would be Hitler, but do you think an immoral person can be a transformational leader? Explain why or why not.
