At the top of Reflection Papers should be: Name, Date, Class (COR 110)

Reflection Paper 1 provides the opportunity to reflect on some of your previous experiences of religion whether you identify as a religious person or not or whether you affiliate with a particular religion or not. Or you may reflect on some of your thoughts about religion.

For Reflection Paper 1, please write a reflection within ONE of the following themes:

Relation of Religion to Something of Personal Interest: Write about how something you are interested in (sports, travel, nature) is related to religion.

An Experience of Religion: Describe a time when you experienced something religious, such as a religious ritual/ ceremony. How did this impact you?

Future Hopes: Describe something related to religion (a religious site, a religious person) that you hope to see, experience, encounter someday.

Relation of Religion to Your Major or Minor: Describe how some aspect of religion relates to your major or minor.

Relation to a Social Issue: Describe how an aspect of religion is related to a social issue (poverty, violence, racism).
