This activity will describe 4 survey scenarios. Your objective for this activity is to determine the type of study (cross-sectional, cohort, panel, or trend). Be sure to include a reason for your selection. After completing the four scenarios listed below, create your own longitudinal scenario and list the type of design.

A researcher is interested in the long-term benefits of covid vaccination. To measure the benefits, each year the researcher randomly selects individuals who received a vaccination in 2021.
A local community college is interested in changes over the tears in their enrollment services. To capture these changes, every year incoming Freshmen complete a survey about their experiences.
You want to know a specific students attitudes toward crime on campus. To measure this, you randomly select 100 students from the University Registrars. They complete your survey once.
A local High School is interested in the benefits of a new ACT training program. To measure student success, the school has Juniors complete Mock-ACT examinations. Then the students take the training program and complete another Mock-ACT examination to see if the program was successful.
