This assessment is about the IT services which are provided by the University of Georgia(UGA) within their campus.These services are provided to the staff, students and to all other persons within that region and are made for the technological growth of the university.The services provided here are very helpful and innovative and the whole assessment is about the services and their qualities provided by the UGA.

This program is performed for increasing the awareness of information theft and other attacks.Secure UGA is the University of Georgia's information security awareness and training program.This service has an additional feature which is called as Central Authentication Service(CAS) by which an user can work on different such services and applications through his/her account in the Portal.

The university also has its own Web-portal which searches the web in manner which is beneficial for the user.There are also several laws, rules and policies related to these services which should be maintained and followed and are regulated by Office of Information Security at the university.There is also a service which deals with the wide-spreading of the university's network & its accessibility and is called as Access Service.

The overall information regarding the students, staff, and other persons is maintained by Athena which is a database for that information.The university keeps a good eye on its computer system and always keeps them secure and safe, loaded with antivirus and other defenders.This security is kept because the university did not wanted any harm to its internal network and is performed by university's Computer Protection service.The UGA has also launched an awareness program regarding system and data security and aiming for positive approach of people towards awareness of theft, data breaches and other threats under the Secure UGA service.

The university has also came up with an idea of interoperability(together working) among websites.By this Identity Federation feature the user can also work with those websites which are not a part of UGA.
