This assignment aims at providing the students with strong analytical skills as they are going to assess a company training and development need as well as designing an instructional material. Moreover, students are required to evaluate and suggest some training and developmental methods best matching the designed program. Description of the Tool: In this assignment students, on individual basis, are required to analyze a selected firm training and development needs, design training-development program and suggest appropriate methods for training / development. Students are required to carry out the following tasks: Task 1 Select any organization, department or unit (private or public) and assess employees training and development needs. This could be done by carrying out organization, person and task analysis. The outcomes of this task include: who needs training? what task need to be training? And whether the training is appropriate for the organization? Task 2 Develop/design a formal structure/schedule for training activities. This should be done for at least two training needs. The formal structure should include behavioral objectives, learning tasks, place, date/time and resources required for training implementation
