This assignment is meant to be about personal exploration. For the strength checklist, you can use a list format, a
chart, etc. Each of the items listed should be on separate pages. For the mind map, you can draw it out on a piece
of paper or create a digital version in Canva, PPT, Excel - really whatever you think will work.
Strength Checklist
Identify all of the your strengths (make sure to have at least 10) in a list.
Then reorganize them into categories from a beginner level to mastery. Create a chart or a list that says
beginner and place all of the strengths (from step 1) where you think you are a beginner in that list. The
next column could say advanced or proficient and then mastery, etc.
Next, create another list and identify potential strengths that you need to work on. These can be from the
list or others that you might want to include.
Self-Discovery Mind Map
Use this Mind Map Instructions to begin your mind-map. Don't overthink anything. Put the first word that
comes to mind. This is first branch of your mind-map. You will expand off of this. For example, in What
Inspires You, I may have started with color, design, fashion and people. Then I would create lines or
branches off of color that say color names like violet and red because those are the colors that inspire me
most. Consider color-coding the material. For example, the branch of What Inspires You might all begin in
one color so that your mind-map is easy to read. See the example above.
