This assignment is optional and is worth 10 bonus

This assignment is optional and is worth 10 bonus points. In this assignment you'll create an xbar-chart to monitor the mean response time by an ambulance department. The situation: Deadwood City's Emergency Response System wants to monitor the amount of time taken by ambulances to reach the site of an emergency after a call to 911. Each day for 2 weeks they track a random sample of 6 calls and record the ambulance response time (in minutes), as seen below. Thev want to use 99.73% limits in their control ound on ilearn.) The data above into have already been entered the "Data" sheet. Additional information and instructions are given on the "Data" sheet. 1) Enter inputs in cells B4:B7. Make sure you use the right sample size n when you find the required numbers from the table that contains A2,D3, and D4. 2) Calculate the sample means and ranges in H10:I23 using cell formulas. You can find the first day's sample mean in cell H10 with AVERAGE(B10:G10) and the first sample range in I10 with MAX(B10:G10)-MIN(B10:G10). Copy these formulas down the column. Use the AVERAGE function to compute x-double-bar (x) and R-bar (R) in cells E3:E4. 3) Calculate the lower and upper xbar control chart limits ( LCL and UCL ) in cells H3:H4 with the formulas discussed in lecture and in the textbook. Keep 2 decimal places for these calculated quantities. 4) Below make an xbar-chart (line chart) that plots the sample means, center line (CL), and control limits. Label the axes. To get the center line and control chart limits plotted on the same line chart with the sample means, you can simply repeat x,LCL and UCL for each day, in cells J10:L23. Make your line chart big enough to be easily read. 5) Has the mean ambulance response time been in-control or outof-control these past two weeks? Explain briefly
