This assignment is the outline for Speech #1 - Introduction Speech. Make sure you have carefully read the instructions for that speech in order to prepare this outline. Even though you haven't studied outlining in the course yet, you want to get used to having to write a preparation outline for each speech. In this module, you were given an example of a preparation outline for an Introduction Speech to get you started. The most important thing about this outline assignment is that you write an outline, not a word-for-word script. The next most important thing about this outline assignment is that you write all your entries in complete sentences, not in keywords. Write only one sentence per symbol. Anything more would be closer to a script with symbols than an outline. This outline will not be graded. Rather, | will check to see if you wrote a full-sentence outline. If you did, and it was adequate for this assignement, | will mark it "complete." If you did not, | will mark it "incomplete," and give you feedback to help make sure you get on the right track for your upcoming graded outlines.
