With reference to the three (3) self-analysis reports submitted earlier in the course along with insights you gather from additional interpretation of the parallel outcomes of your assessment results, you will identify ways in which you can leverage your strengths and ways to build your capacity in the desired areas for continued growth.
To bring practicality to your Workplace Success Action Plan, you will need to conduct research to identify relevant options that will enable your ability to learn or practice the behaviors, skills or competencies identified for growth.
Lecture notes, slides, or other posted materials are acceptable as valid points of reference.
Follow the instructions as provided within this document to thoroughly complete the assignment requirements.
Instructions:
1. Read the entire assignment.
2. Download and type your responses on the Workplace Success Action Plan template provided below.
3. Include the date, your name and student number on the template where indicated.
4. Be sure to delete the Overview and Instructions sections, before submitting your assignment.
5. Submit your completed assignment to the designated assignment folder by 11:59p ET at the end of Week 7.
Completing Your Workplace Success Action Plan (WSAP):
1) To ensure your WSAP is relevant to your personal and professional journey, have available and make reference to:
a) The results of your three (3) assigned self-assessments:
i) A Profile of Your Personality Based on the Five Factor Model;
ii) Assessing Your Emotional Intelligence;
iii) Active Listening Skills Inventory.
b) Your self-analysis for each of the assigned self-assessments listed above.
c) The results from additional self-assessments you elected to explore. Results of these optional self-assessments will need to be included as appendix items with your assignment.
d) Review the requirements of the Team Assignment so that you can appropriately conduct the analysis at steps 2 and 3 below.
2) Conduct a comparative analysis of all of your personality assessment results, to identify three (3) dimensions/behaviours/skills that you have interpreted to be strengths. Be sure to provide clear rationale of how these three (3) strengths will be beneficial to you and your team, relative to the team assignment for this course. Capture your analysis in the Self-Assessment Comparative Analysis template below. This analysis should be included as an Appendix item with your assignment.
3) Conduct a comparative analysis of all of your assessment results, to identify three (3) dimensions/behaviours/skills that you have interpreted to be opportunities for growth. Be sure to provide clear rationale of how these three (3) areas of growth might impact or influence the dynamics on your team, relative to the team assignment for this course. Capture your analysis in the Self-Assessment Comparative Analysis template below. This analysis should be included as an Appendix item with your assignment
4) Use the template as presented below, in Landscape format to chart your WSAP. You are free to add additional rows or, additional pages as needed. Your report is to be 8-10 pages in length, excluding cover page, reference and appendix pages.
5) Your Cover Page, Reference and Appendix pages should appear in Portrait format.
6) Font should be 12pt using Arial, Verdana or Times New Roman.
7) Ensure that your assignment follows APA requirements.
8) Ensure the content of your assignment is well structured and grammatically sound.
