This is a discussion that does count on your experience. And... even if you are not a long-term project manager, you will have had experience with projects and programs, perhaps home-improvement projects, travel projects, weddings, and so on.
Recall some of your more interesting projects and think of times when there was a misalignment between what was formally presented as the set of requirements - and the needs, and the wants of the receiving organization. In the projects you choose, in some cases you may be that receiver (the customer) and sometimes the providing organization (the contractor, or seller).
Dig deep and find two examples if possible, where this misalignment occurred.
Give the background, talk about the mismatch, and in particular focus on what it meant to the success (at handover AND long-term) of the project. Hint: sometimes this mismatch is only discovered later and is often expressed with statements like, "if only I knew then what I knew now, I would have....".
