They manufacture compostable plastic bags (Carry bags for grocery stores), envelops for office usage, bin liners for trash cans, food packaging items, food and vegetable rolls (used for picking vegetables and fruits at major grocery stores), compostable mailers (the one used by e-commerce marketers to sell apparels/soft items that do not require boxes).
Green Packaging, though is big they do not want a lot of risks, and hence wants to enter Canada through an indirect entry strategy. The mgt. decided to establish its distribution channel in Canada. They selected one distributor in Ottawa, the distributor is new too.
1.Which businesses in Canada will be interested in the products of Green Plastic's compostable products? Suggest about 4-5 prospective buyers in Ontario, give a rationale why you selected them. Think beyond Costco, Walmart, Canadian Tire, etc.
