This is a sample: Bio - Matt Thompson Matt Thompson began working for USCRI Vermont in November 2007 as an employment counselor during the recession. Since that point, he has taken on increasing responsibilities. He now serves as Program Manager for Refugee Services, overseeing several case management, employment and cash assistance programs (R&P, MG, RCA, Reach Up, and the RSS case management and employment programs). Matt assisted the State of Vermont, DCF/ESD/Reach Up program in developing a partnership with USCRI Vermont to provide Reach Up Case Management. Matt also helped with transitioning USCRI Vermont's Wilson-Fish program into the Refugee Cash Assistance (RCA) program, a public-private partnership between the State of Vermont and USCRI Vermont to administer RCA benefits to eligible clients. Prior to his time at USCRI Vermont, Matt worked as an employment counselor for the DC Refugee Center of Catholic Charities - Archdiocese of Washington, DC and as a housing coordinator and case manager for refugees, asylum seekers, asylees, and survivors of torture and trafficking at the Center for Multicultural Human Services in Falls Church, VA. He holds an MA from American University, School of International Service in International Peace & Conflict Resolution and a BA from Earlham College
