This is a team work assignment. This will require collaborative works by the team member in which several meetings need to be held for discussions, assigning tasks and reflection. At least 3 meetings should be held. Minutes of the meetings and short video recording sample of the meeting are required for grading to weigh the relative contribution of each team member.

Review the lectures on concept generation, and then describe the steps taken by the team in the process concept generation (all five steps). Comment on the process and the results.

Produce hand sketches of 8-16 alternative concepts of your product. Each sketch should include brief description of the concept and its working principles.

Review the lectures on concept selection

Construct concept screening matrix of all alternative concepts and rank them according a selection criteria of at least 8 of the primary customer needs.

Any refined concept idea or combination of concepts to produce a better one should be discussed
