a. Students will analyze trends in inflation and unemployment and means such as core inflations or the natural rate of unemployment using data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
b. Students are expected to understandthe relationships between unemployment and inflation fromgeneral scatter plot such as negative and positive trends. And in the case of the Phillips Curve recognize that the theoretical relationship has been questioned based on US experience.Provide a critical analysis of the Phillips Curve.
