ASSIGNMENT REPORT Salma, an employee was wamed about her frequent absenteeism both verbally and in writing. The written warning included notice stated that in case of continuation of absences and violations of company rules there will be disciplinary actions taken like suspension or dismissal. Even after receiving the written warning Salma called her supervisor to say she was not going to present for work on that day because she had an appointment with the a specialist doctor for her mother, Salma's supervisor. Zainab told her that she had already exceeded the allowed limit of absences and warned that if she did not report to work, she could be suspended. After Zainab informed this to Salma, she was suspended for fifteen days. Zainab justifies as Salma cannot be excused for her absences. It is her responsibility to plan for an appointment with the doctor based on her working hour's schedule. Answer the following questions: 1.
