Select an item of your choosing from your household (e.g., food item, toiletries, etc.) and apply the EOQ models to this item. Assume the item is not perishable and that the usage (demand) for it is constant. Estimate various parameters of the model and apply them to this item - then develop the optimal order quantity and how often to order. If you were to go ahead and actually use this approach in ordering the item, what would be the advantage? What would be the drawback?
