Now more than ever, Canadian health care decision makers must consider new options to better match supply and demand. In doing so, they must carefully weigh the ethical implications of potential interventions and ensure that the solutions to reduce wait times do not compromise the values of equitable access to care that the Canadian health care system was founded on.
