This lab will help you identify metamorphic rock using the flowchart provided by minimigelology and attached to this assignment. Your program will prompt the user with specific questions about the characteristics of metamorphic rocks and record their answers in order to help identify the type of metamorphic rock it is such as:
What texture is your metamorphic rock?
fine grained
medium to course grain
no grain crystals
Then prompt the user for more information as needed until your program is able to identify the rock type.
Submit a document that details your problem solving approach when identifying a metamorphic rock. Explain the problem, goal, inputs, assumptions, outputs, and algorithm you used to solve this problem. You will implement your solution as a C program that should:
Include your name in a comment at the beginning
Match the algorithm you described
Compile without warnings nor errors (if it does not compile it will not be graded)
Find the correct metamorphic rock
Use proper indentation and alignment
