This lesson is a project in which you will develop your own behind-the-wheel curriculum. General Organization of Lessons The total behind-the-wheel (actual driving) time for each student should total 6 hours. The total observation time for each student should total 12 hours. There must be a minimum of 12 lessons. Each lesson is to be scheduled with 3 students in the car. Lessons are not to exceed 90 minutes. There would be a limit of 1 lesson per day. *Exception: I would allow a highway lesson combined with a lesson in a large city (like using multiple lane streets). The two lessons would be a total of 180 minutes or 3 hours. If another trip is made to that city use an alternate way of getting students to that city. The last lesson must be a final behind-the-wheel test.
