Great for visual simple & clear Tip: ask for feedback from peer - do they understand it? Guide audience to what's important-highlight, color, circle, arrows Evidence-based research (PubMed, etc.) avoid memes Use citations Now is not the time to get fancy cliffhangers, music, etc. Nope. . Conclusion & call to action Preparing the Presentation Aim for 1 minute of talking per slide Remember about the fancy? Logical animations are okay. Average 3-6 bullets per page Less than 3? Combine it. More than 6? Split it. Use images, if possible, for fewer bullets Use video, if relevant . Consistent & Clean slides Font Colors Image/table/figure placement Spellcheck Use of bold, underline, italics (hint: not too fancy)
