This section states that a pilot must have 3 takeoff and landings in the preceding ______________ days for performing his/her duties as a pax carrier. Takeoff or landings may be performed in visual simulator under 121.407. If a person does not meet the requirements and needs to reestablish recency of experience this person must perform three takeoff and landing under the supervision of a check airman. One of the three take off must simulate failure of the most critical power plant, at least one landing from an ILS approach to the lowest ILS minimum and at least one landing to a full stop. If this has to be done in a flight simulator, a person must have previously logged 100 hours of flight time in the same type of airplane and landings must be made at weather minimums. The repositioning function of the simulator cannot be used. Check airmen might determine additional training requirements
