THIS SHOULD BE IN A DIAGRAM FORMAT PLEASE(FLOWCHART, VISIO OR ANY CHART )
!!!You are an analyst tasked to create an activity diagram in the analysis phase of an object-oriented analysis and design project. You are not documenting a system, you are creating an activity diagram for a business process. The business process that you will model using an activity diagram is an example work day of one of Acme's electrical crews. That crew and work day is as follows:
Use the information provided in the section titled:
The workday:
The activity diagram must include the entire workday, from "Start:" to "End:", inclusive.
For this assignment:
There will be one Crew only
That one crew will complete two Jobs this day:
The Stock Room has the BOM for Job 1
The Stock Room does NOT have any of the BOM needed for Job 2. All of it must be delivered to the job site by a 3rd party electrical store.
The workday:
Start:
Each workday morning the crews arrive at Toms shop to prepare for the day. Tom gives
each crew:
1. A list of Jobs by crew that the crew is to work on that day, and the order that
Tom wants them completed.
2. A list of material for each Job, aka a Bill of Materials (BOM). The crew
then either pulls the BOM from the stock room or Supply tells them
what, when, and where to pick up the BOM or partial BOM from a 3rd
party electrical supply store. A 3rd party electrical supply store may deliver
additional BOM directly to the Job site.
3. Any special instructions about each Job.
4. Any special instructions about their days itinerary.
Supply maintains a stock of electrical parts and supplies via an Inventory. Prior to leaving the shop, Crews obtain from the Inventory, electrical parts and supplies they anticipate
needing that are not pre-stocked in their vehicle. If Supply or the Crews vehicle is missing
needed parts or supplies the team leader will determine if they should:
Request Supply provide the needed items to the Job site.
Request a 3rd party electrical supply store provide the needed items to the Job site.
Pick up the needed items at either Supply or a 3rd party electrical supply store later.
Each electrician provides their own personal tools for use on a job. These are items like screwdrivers, hammers, tool belt, etc. - Acme provides no personal tools.
During:
Tom maintains contact throughout the day with crews team leader via a smartphone. They use text as well as voice to communicate. The team leader uses a map application on the smartphone for mapping to locate Job sites.
The company contracts with a 3rd party vehicle maintenance company to maintain their fleet of vehicles. Assigned drivers report immediately to Supply when they detect any possible vehicle issues that might require immediate or emergency repairs.
Supply calls the 3rd party vehicle maintenance company to schedule both normal maintenance and immediate/emergency repairs.
End:
While returning to the shop, vehicle drivers are required to fuel their vehicles. Any time a vehicle driver fuels a vehicle, they note the vehicle mileage, date, and time on the receipt. At he shop they:
1. Verbally report to Tom about their workday.
2. Provide receipts to Supply for any items purchased, including but not
limited to, fuel, oil, materials, supplies, special equipment, etc.
3. Assigned drivers report the vans ending mileage to Supply.
4. Each crew restocks their van from Inventory and notifies Supply of any items they are unable to restock.
GIAGRAM MUST CONTAIN THE FOLLOWING
UML Activity Diagram Overall:
Uses the correct UML Activity diagram symbols.
Line crossings are minimized.
The diagram flows from top to bottom and left to right
Actions and Activities:
Correctly identifies the set of actions and/or activities necessary to document the logic of the business process.
All actions/activities are named.
Action/activity names are fully enclosed by their respective container.
Actions/activity names are present-tense, imperative, verb-noun pairs.
Names are short yet contain enough information to easily identify the action or activity.
Every action is a simple non-decomposable piece of the overall business process being modeled.
Each activity is associated with a use case.
Does NOT include information about HOW to do an action/activity, only WHAT to do.
Object Nodes:
Correctly identifies the object nodes necessary to document the logic of the business process.
Object nodes are named.
Object node names are nouns.
Object names are fully enclosed by their respective container.
Each object node represents a set of information.
Control Flows and Object Flows:
Correctly identifies the control flows and object flows necessary to document the logic of the business process.
Control flows are portrayed as a solid line with an arrowhead on it showing the direction of flow.
Control flows are attached only to actions or activities.
Object flows are depicted as a dashed line with an arrowhead on it showing the direction of flow.
Swimlanes:
Are included to enhance readability, simplify understanding, or assign responsibility
