This study uses a pre-test post-test design in a recent training involving sixty new managers. One month before the training started, an employee pulse survey consisting of several items measuring managerial effectiveness was launched company-wide. Employees were asked to rate their manager's effectiveness using a Likert agreement scale from 1 (Strongly Disagree) to 5 (Strongly Agree). Three months after the end of the new managers training programme, the same employee pulse survey consisting of the same items measuring managerial effectiveness was launched company-wide. Data set 2 consists of the subordinates' ratings of the sixty new managers and were aggregated using the mean (See HRM318-2023Jan-KRAZUS-DataSet2-Training.csv).

The dependent variable : intention to quit.

The independent variables : work autonomy, exhaustion, supervisor support, workload.
