You'll gain insight by examining the connection between what students do and what teachers do. Record a video (up to 5 minutes) on Padlet, responding to the following prompts: Choose one Standard for Mathematical Practice and explain it in your own words. Identify one or more Effective Teaching Practices that directly support the student practice. Reflect on the connection: How do the teacher's actions influence students' ability to engage in that mathematical practice? Insight into how instructional choices create opportunities for deep mathematical thinking. Look for and make use of structure.
