This week I was able to shadow for an hour or so couple days. I had the flu last week and haven't been feeling the best, but I was still able to get some time in the classroom. I got to observe their science lesson. They start out by writing down the definitions for a word list the teacher provides. They can work quietly with their table partners. During this time, I noticed if a student was confused, they would ask a student nearby. Typically, one of the students knew the answer. I really liked this. It gave them a sense of working together and problem solving. The teacher walked the room and was quickly available if they needed her. find a direct object
