While somewhat dated (2013) the FEMA social media document in the reading assignments remains one of the most comprehensive on the topic. After reading the document, and others you may find through research, comment on the pros and cons of social media use in disasters and identify at least one "up to date" or potential future application for social media to address emergency management communications issues.
