This week was all about data, analysis and interpretation. While tools such as Excel and SPSS are available for calculating the statistics, keep in mind that the analysis is what converts these numbers into useful information.

As you conclude this week, think about the following:

• Can you "lie" with statistics? How can we avoid mis-representation and mid-interpretation of data?
• What precautions do we need to take when analyzing data?
• What are the different ways for testing the difference between two groups? What if it was the same group that was tested at two points in time?
• How do Excel and SPSS compare in terms of features, access, and ease of use for analyzing data?
• Can you identify some examples where there may be a high correlation (+ve and -ve)? What caution do we need to practice when interpreting correlation coefficient?
