This week, we will continue to be working with the same physical network setup, either using physical equipment or the physical tab in Packet Tracer. As in previous weeks, you will be programming a router and two switches. You will be programming your LAN interface connections using VLANs and connecting your second$-$gigabit interface to the $$Internet$.$ You will also connect your PC to each VLAN to show that your networks are programmed correctly. This week you will be adding in port security, which enables setting up monitoring of network traffic for security purposes. At E$-$MAGINE, a Switch Port Analyzer port is programmed to connect to the Intrusion Protection system so the network traffic can be analyzed.
