This week we've delved into multiparty negotiations and considered both the challenges and opportunities presented by these situations. We've also looked at methods of organizing and managing these types of negotiations. For the discussion, I$\text{'}$d like us to focus on real world examples of multi$-$party negotiations.Discussion leaders, your task is to identify a real$-$world multi$-$party negotiation that occurred in your hometown or nearby and give us a summary of it $($who$,$ what, when, where, why$),$ along with at least two outside sources that we can look at to deepen our understanding of the situation. Sources can be construed broadly. For instance, if you find a Youtube video recording of part of the negotiation, or a newspaper article, those are fine. Places to start looking include school and company labor negotiations, local government$/$city council issues $($their agendas are typically published online$),$ local community disputes $($HOA vs$.$ builders vs$.$ developers$),$ etc.
