This week you are now at PBL Step 5, where you will apply your new knowledge in an Employee Engagement Action Plan and an Executive Summary MS PowerPoint presentation. Next, in PBL Step 6, you will self-assess and reflect on what you learned in this course. While this weeks assignment is an academic requirement for this course, your product this week is a senior leadership action plan and an Office of the President directed document.
The number of required research sources is a minimum of seven and a maximum of 10.
In this PBL step, your HPT will present your analysis on the cultural strengths and opportunities to improve engagement within your organization. Based upon these strengths and opportunities, you will recommend a plan of action to guide the organization. The plan is an Employee Engagement Action Plan. When developing your action plan, keep in mind that, as QuestionPro (2021) noted:
Employee engagement action plan is a process that an organization must come up with to identify and prioritize their actions and also be able to identify quick and simple changes to demonstrate to its employees that the organization is determined to set in an action plan on receiving any form of feedback about levels of employee engagement within the organization.
Consider the following questions to gain better clarity and direction while strategizing employee engagement action plan:
What areas of improvement will result in the strategic gains in the levels of employee engagement?
Do any of the areas of improvement already align with the current strategic direction?
Is the change being considered reasonably?
What is the amount of funds that the organization is looking to invest?
Is the organization ready to deliver on what it is promising?
How will the plan increase productivity, increase employee satisfaction, decrease attrition rate, improve work life balance, and increase revenue?
