Active listening is a communication technique which requires the listener to feed back what they hear to the speaker, by way of re-stating or paraphrasing what they have heard in their own words, to confirm what they have heard and to confirm the understanding of both parties. There are times at work - and in your personal life - where active listening techniques are especially useful. Think about your current job or perhaps a job you have held in the past.Describe a time when it would be especially important to use Active Listening techniques.
