This week, you will be taking a look at Community Risk Reduction and Fire Prevention based on the methods provided by the United States Fire Administration (USFA). The USFA is an organization born out of the recommendations of the original 1973 America Burn report. You will specifically look at the role of CRR in modern fire prevention, the role the community plays in identifying fire risks in a community, and any CRR initiatives that have reduced fire incidents in your community. After reading each of this week's required readings and conducting your own research into the topic, write a post that answers the following: 1. What role does Community Risk Reduction (CRR) play in modern fire prevention strategies? 2. Discuss the importance of community involvement in identifying and addressing potential fire hazards. 3. Share an example of a successful community risk reduction initiative that has effectively reduced fire incidents in your community. 4.
