This week, you will submit your HR Article write-up. This is a summary of a relevant article pertaining to Human Resources. You will be graded on the following:

1. Cohesive and concise summary of article: 15 points. Your summary must be in Times New Roman 12 point font with 1" margins on all sides. Be sure to include the title of the article, the publication you took it from, as well as the author. If your article is from an online source, please place the link to the article within your write-up.

2. Grammar & Mechanics: 10 points. Please utilize proper spelling, punctuation and mechanics. Write clearly and avoid speaking in one big paragraph. You should have a clear introduction, body, and conclusion. You should also avoid speaking in the first person.

3. Relevancy to Human Resources: 10 points. How relevant is this article to the field of HR? Is the article you researched current or cutting-edge? Or is it dated and out-of-touch?

4. Application of something you learned in class: 15 points. Apply something (topic, law, theory) you learned in class to the article summary. Expand on this topic and be specific. Back up your point of view with a scholarly outside source.
