v. Thomas was given a companys cell phone which incurred a monthly bill of $5,500 per month; this was used exclusively for business purposes. BCV ltd. also paid Thomas home phone bill at an average of $6,900 per month; this he used exclusively for personal business.

vi. The company provided lunch tickets to their employees. During the year, Thomas collected $8,000 worth of meal tickets. Half of this amount was used for overtime meals.

vii. Thomas is attending university part-time and received a scholarship of $60,000 from BCV ltd for the year.

viii. Thomas contributes 10% of his basic salary to an approved pension scheme.
