Threshold Limit Values and Permissible Exposure Levels (established by the EPA) are crucial in protecting American workers by setting chemical exposure standards across numerous industries. These exposure limitations provide value to the American worker by having scientifically informed standards designed to limit the overall health impacts of hazardous chemicals in the workplace.
