Through the Research Methods and Statistics sequence, you will conduct your own research project.You will design your study, assist with data collection, and eventually analyze and write up this project. So the time is now (or yesterday!) to start thinking of areas of interest that you would like to research.

1. Due to the introductory nature and the online format of this class, there are a few topics that I must keep you away from as you are brainstorming ideas.You may not pursue a project related to criminal behavior, psychological disorders, or therapy, or on any population besides college students.
2. Also due to the online nature of this class, you may only conduct research that can be assessed by surveys completed by college students.
3. For the Research Proposal Assignment 1, share at least 3 different topic areas that you think you might like to conduct a research project about. Make sure to justify and explain your thoughts. When you are ready to submit, upload your document here.
