Throughout this course I particularly enjoyed investigating issues and devising risk mitigation strategies. I have considered specializing in HR compliance, and this course reinforced that for me$.$ Equal Employment Opportunity and ADA guidelines are not only important considerations when supporting a company$$s success, they are also fundamental to creating a safe and inclusive workplace. I believe strongly that an organization instills inclusive practices into the fabric of its organization, laying out measurable goals in recruitment and development, particularly focusing on expanding the diversity of C$-$suite and other leadership roles so when it comes time to enact DEI initiatives at the social level, there is an inherent trust among the workforce and a greater chance of success.

I see the future of data analytics in HR as a welcome challenge. I look forward to leveraging past experiences and creativity to apply data effectively, supporting the success of the workforce and the organization. I also value the shift from administrative to more collaborative and strategic work, as I am driven by how HR can harness the power of human capital. I think to give a business a competitive advantage means understanding the overall wellbeing of the workforce and organizational structure, and so much of what HR does, from inclusivity to job design to recruitment and performance management directly affects a company$$s ability to thrive. The continued and increasing use of AI in the workplace is an interesting challenge for HR professionals. Understanding how to ethically apply technology to workforce management, such as recruitment, retention and benefits analysis will be key. $$I plan to stay up to date on trends and continuously learn and develop my skills as well as obtain and maintain certifications to stay knowledgeable and relevant in an ever$-$changing profession.
