Throughout this course, you have been learning how to create a scientific research paper by looking at examples done by other authors. For this final Assignment, you will work on the beginning stages of your own scientific research paper.

• Find a specific topic that interests you. Choose psychology research articles.)
• Develop a research question about that topic. (Please review the Research Question section, found in the content section of Lesson One).
• Research your chosen topic and find at least three peer-reviewed articles that discuss this topic. (Peer-reviewed sources are journal articles that have been examined by experts for accuracy. The sources, as discussed in the Key Elements of M&M section of Lesson Four, should have the following sections: Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussions, and Conclusions. If you need help finding sources, please ask your librarians and/or visit the Scientific Writing [webpage] center of the library.)
• After reading your articles, create three annotations, one for each of the three articles. (For more information about how to develop an annotated bibliography, visit Week 3's Literature Review section, which contains a discussion about how to create an annotated bibliography).
• Based on your findings from the research you conducted on your chosen topic, develop ahypothesis that you could focus on in your future research.
• Finally, create an introduction for your project that discusses your topic/research question/and hypothesis. You can use the outside sources you found for your annotated bibliography to provide background knowledge. (For more information about introductions and hypotheses, please visit The Introduction as Good Storytelling and The Introduction sections from Week 3's lesson).
• Use vivid and descriptive verbs throughout your proposal to effectively communicate your research ideas.
• Properly cite all sources used in your proposal to acknowledge the work of others and maintain academic integrity.

1. A two-paragraph introduction (no more than 300 words) that includes your research question and hypothesis. Please put both in bold. You will want your hypotheses as the final sentence of your introduction.
2. An annotated bibliography that contains at least three peer-reviewed articles.
