Throughout this course, you will work to create the development plan and design for a product to be implemented in the second part of the capstone CS$492.$ You will be assigned a group and will choose a product scenario at the beginning of the course, then you will work individually on different aspects of the project planning to come back at the end of the course to put together your group$$s work in preparation for CS$492$ where you will be implementing your project as a group.

This course will focus on the project initiation and product envisioning. You will be using the scrum framework for your project and by the end of this course, you are expected to complete the product backlog and the sprint planning for sprint $1$ and sprint $2.$ Note that those can be updated and refined when you get back together as a group and start development in CS$492.$

After your instructor has assigned group members, your group should select a product description. You have $4$ options to choose from. Please select one product scenario as a group, and send your selected product description to your instructor.

Assignment Details

Groups will be assigned and will select a project from the provided list as the target for the team's software development project. This project will be used as the basis for each of the assignments throughout the course. After you agree on a project as a group, each group member will work individually on the first submission:

Meet with your group to review the product descriptions provided and select the project that your group will use for this course. Communicate your selection to your instructor.
