To begin, post a passage from an academic source being used for essay one (pasting the passage into the post is fine). Flannery O'Connor "A Late Encounter with the Enemy" This will be from a journal article you are using (or possibly from a book or other source)

Then, give examples of how information in the source passage might be used by a critic. Give an example of a quotation (one sentence or shorter), summary (two or three sentences), and paraphrase (about the same length as the original, but in your words). You will have three examples in the discussion post.

Be sure to integrate/introduce the material (According to____, ). In addition, cite the source in each of the three examples and provide an MLA Works Cited entry for the source.
