To determine whether a contract is valid, four basic elements must be considered: mutual assent, offer and acceptance, capacity, and legality. These elements will help determine and legally bind both parties who agreed to terms responsible to carry out the length of the established contract. According to Contract (n.d.), mutual assent focuses on the agreement from both parties, honoring the terms established in exchange for swapping services; offer and acceptance determines whether a contract actually exists; capacity covers the age limit and recommends that all parties have a sound mind before entering into a contract; and finally, legality ensures that the reasoning is supporting the purpose before a contract can be deemed enfroeable
