Today you will be dealing with the physical $(1)$ and data link $(2)$ layers of the OSI model. You have

already constructed a small local network to enable communication between your machines $($physical

layer$).$ Now, you will be sending a macping from one machine to another $($data link layer$).$ Think of

this as one machine yelling out $$marco$$ and another replying with $$polo$.$ Finally, you will be using a

powerful free program called Wireshark to sniff the traffic on the network to visually see the
