Today's economic reality for many new parents is that both of them need to work. Even if an employer provides paid maternity leave, this is significantly limited in time and parents are thrust into having to make difficult decisions about how to provide their children with the best environment in which to develop. In addition, day care costs are skyrocketing with very limited availability for newborns and there is debate around how to best address these complex issues.
