Topic Idea Need:

I asked this question before, but the answer only gave me a definition/explanation of the accounting term.

Option 1: Discuss a recent change that benefits cost accounting relating to Job Costing.

Option 2: Propose a change that benefits cost accounting relating to Job Costing.

I'm really in need of topic ideas for this subject. Any relevant ideas would be helpful. I only need to fulfill either option 1 or 2, not both. Ideas for both options would be appreciated, but not necessary.

Please do not give me a definition or explanation of what job costing is. I am familiar with the subject, I am just having trouble researching a change that could be beneficial.
